How much does Cortex Pro cost?
Cortex Pro is $12.99/month. Your subscription gives you unlimited access to all premium features including custom manifestations, custom journeys, Focus & Sleep Mode, the full Pro Journeys Library, and AI-generated content.
How do I subscribe to Cortex Pro?
- Open the Cortex app
- Tap on "Upgrade to Pro" from your profile or any locked feature
- Review the benefits and tap "Upgrade to Pro"
- Complete the purchase through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
Your subscription begins immediately after purchase.
How does billing work?
- Your subscription is billed monthly through the App Store or Google Play
- Payments are charged to your Apple ID or Google account
- Your subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled
- You'll be charged within 24 hours before your current period ends
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store, not within Cortex:
On iPhone/iPad:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Cortex
- Tap Cancel Subscription
On Android:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon
- Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Select Cortex
- Tap Cancel subscription
Note: Cancelling stops future charges but you'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my purchases?
If you've previously subscribed and your Pro features aren't showing:
- Open Cortex
- Go to the Upgrade screen
- Tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom
- Your Pro membership will be restored if a valid subscription is found
This is helpful if you reinstalled the app, got a new device, or were logged out of your account.
I was charged but don't have Pro access. What do I do?
First, try restoring your purchases (see above). If that doesn't work:
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the purchase
- Check your subscription status in your device settings
- Contact us at support@usecortexapp.com with your purchase receipt and we'll help resolve it
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are processed through Apple or Google, not directly through Cortex:
- Apple: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Open Google Play → Account → Order history → Find the order → Request a refund

Cortex is a manifestation and mindfulness app that helps you transform your reality through guided journeys, AI-powered affirmations, and subconscious programming sessions. Create personalized manifestations, follow structured transformation programs, or relax with our Focus & Sleep Mode.
What do I get with the free version?
Free users can access:
- A selection of starter journeys
- Daily unlocked content
- Basic manifestation features
- Progress tracking and streaks
What does Pro unlock?
Pro membership includes:
- Custom Manifestations – Create unlimited AI-powered manifestations with personalized images and audio
- Custom Journeys – Design your own 7, 14, or 21-day transformation programs tailored to your goals
- Focus & Sleep Mode – Ambient subconscious programming sessions for sleep, work, or deep relaxation
- Pro Journeys Library – Access all premium guided journeys including 21+ day deep transformation programs
- AI-Generated Content – Personalized scripts, affirmations, and visualizations created just for you
- New Features Monthly – Early access to new journeys, tools, and features as they launch
What are Journeys?
Journeys are multi-day guided programs (7, 14, or 21 days) designed to help you manifest specific goals. Each day includes audio sessions with affirmations and visualizations. Complete the full journey to build lasting habits and achieve transformation.
What is Focus & Sleep Mode?
This feature provides ambient audio sessions designed for subconscious programming while you work, relax, or sleep. Play affirmations and frequencies in the background to reinforce your manifestations throughout the day.
How do streaks work?
Your streak counts consecutive days you've completed a manifestation session. Maintaining your streak helps build the daily habit essential for lasting transformation. If you miss a day, your streak resets to zero.
Troubleshooting
Why isn't my content loading?
Try these steps:
- Check your internet connection – Cortex requires a stable connection to load content
- Force close and reopen the app – Swipe up to close completely, then reopen
- Restart your device – This can resolve many temporary issues
- Update the app – Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store or Google Play
- Check for iOS/Android updates – Outdated system software can cause compatibility issues

Audio isn't playing. What should I do?
- Make sure your device isn't in silent mode (check the mute switch on iPhone)
- Increase your device volume
- Check that no other apps are using audio (music apps, podcasts, etc.)
- Close and reopen the app
- Try using headphones
Notifications aren't working.
- Go to your device Settings → Notifications → Cortex
- Make sure Allow Notifications is turned ON
- Enable Banners, Sounds, and Badges as desired
- In the Cortex app, check that daily reminders are enabled in your profile settings
My progress/data disappeared.
Your data is synced to your account. Make sure you're signed in with the same account you used previously. If you created an account with your email, sign in with that same email address. Contact support if you need help recovering your account.
Account & Privacy
How do I delete my account?
- Open Cortex and go to your Profile
- Tap Account Settings
- Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
Important: This permanently deletes all your data including:
- All your manifestations
- Journey progress & streaks
- Profile & preferences
- Your account & authentication
This action cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, make sure to cancel it separately through your app store first.
How is my data protected?
We take your privacy seriously. Your personal data is encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your personal information to third parties. For complete details, please read our Privacy Policy.
