Welcome to Cortex. Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the Cortex mobile application (“App”) operated by Cortex AI Manifestation App (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 13 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
2. Description of Service
Cortex is a personal development and manifestation app that provides:
- AI-generated personalized meditation and affirmation audio sessions
- Pre-made guided journey programs
- Custom journey creation tools
- Focus and sleep audio experiences
- Progress tracking and streak features
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized content based on your input. Results may vary, and we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes from using the App.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
a) Free and Pro Tiers
Cortex offers both free and premium (“Pro”) subscription tiers. The Pro subscription provides access to additional features and content.
b) Billing
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
c) Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
d) Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following notice to you.
e) Monthly Creation Limits
Pro subscribers are limited to 10 AI-generated manifestations per calendar month. This limit resets on the first day of each month.
5. User Content
a) Your Content
You retain ownership of the text, images, and other content you submit to the App (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App services.
b) Content Guidelines
You agree not to submit content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Violates the privacy of others
- Is spam or commercial solicitation
c) AI-Generated Content
Content generated by the App's AI features (scripts, audio, images) is created specifically for your personal use. You may use this content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
6. Intellectual Property
a) Our Property
The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
b) Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
c) Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use automated systems to access the App
7. Disclaimers
a) No Medical or Professional Advice
THE APP IS FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, THERAPEUTIC, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. THE APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT.

b) No Guarantees
WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ABOUT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE APP'S CONTENT OR TECHNIQUES. RESULTS FROM USING THE APP MAY VARY.
c) “As Is” Service
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
d) AI Content Limitations
AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected, inaccurate, or inappropriate results. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
